The kitchen works. The bar is solid. The banquettes are good. The bones are there.

Bellitat transforms existing restaurants into spaces that better serve the business, the guest and the next chapter of the concept.

Common questions
Bellitat is designed specifically for existing restaurants and hospitality spaces—places where there is already value to work with. We begin with what’s there and determine what should be retained, reimagined, added or replaced to create the new experience.
Not at all. Retention is not the goal; creating the right restaurant is. We assess each element for its condition, value, usefulness and contribution to the vision. Sometimes retaining or reimagining an existing asset makes sense. Sometimes replacing it is the better investment.
Yes. Bellitat can assess an existing restaurant before you commit to a lease or acquisition, helping you understand its transformation potential, what may be worth retaining, what is likely to require change, and the scope of investment the space may require.
Yes. Bellitat manages the transformation from initial assessment and creative direction through design development, budgeting, coordination, implementation and final installation. Construction itself is performed and managed by the appropriate qualified contractors and trades, while Bellitat coordinates the overall transformation on your behalf.
Bellitat is strongest when an existing space has good bones and meaningful value worth working with. If a restaurant requires fundamental structural changes, extensive infrastructure replacement or a complete rebuild, a conventional renovation or ground-up design approach may be more appropriate.
